Membership

Don't Just Talk About It, BE About It

Our members change lives locally and connect with other clubs to work on international projects that address today’s most pressing challenges. Being a member is an opportunity to take action and make a difference, and it brings personal rewards and lifelong friendships in the process.

There are clubs throughout the district with each having their own form of membership (dues, attendance requirements, etc). Our club offers two membership levels; Full and Passport. Full membership is most fitting for individuals who would like to become strongly involved with all aspects of club activity, including bi-monthly luncheons, district events, holding positions on our Board, and exercising voting rights for changes to the club, use of funds, etc. Passport membership is most fitting for individuals who are interested in supporting club events by volunteering, promoting through social media, providing monetary donations, etc but due to their work/life schedule and or personal/business locations would inhibit them from attending bi-monthly luncheons, district events, or holding leadership roles.

We invite you to learn more about our membership levels by reviewing the chart below and if you are interested in membership, please fill out this application and return to rotaryclubhollywood@gmail.com. All applications will be reviewed and applicants will be invited to attend a luncheon (other arrangements can be made for members not able to attend in person) to meet our club. If your membership application is approved, we will assist in coordinating a membership sponsor to finalize your membership.

Membership Structure

We are a nonprofit organization with an entirely volunteer membership base. All membership dues are used to fund community grants, overhead (luncheons, space rental, etc), community events (purchasing supplies for our community clean-up, donating funds/supplies to our local and international partners, etc). We believe in complete transparency; full members are invited to vote on the use of funds and all members are invited to review our annual budget.
