The Rotary Club of Hollywood Foundation invites High School students to participate in this annual competition.

Outstanding instrumentalists/vocalists will be eligible for prizes.

Best Instrumentalist and/or Vocalist US $500.00 each

Promising Intrumentalist(s)/Vocalist(s) various prizes

We will have the auditions on Friday April 5th, 2024 at a location in Hollywood.

For the audition:

Invited applicants will be asked to perform 2 musical selections (not to exceed 5 min each piece) with or without accompanist. An accompanist is not provided.

The applicant can bring his/her own accompanist or playback system (phone/speaker)

All genres (Classical, Jazz, Pop, Broadway etc.) are welcome.

A minimum of 4 years musical training is required.

All orchestral instruments, including voice, piano and guitar are welcome to apply. Must be an enrolled High School students up to the Age limit of 18

and a resident within Los Angeles County. Previous “Best Instrumentalist/Vocalist” Award winners are ineligible.
